What We Do, We Do Well.
IRG focuses on four main areas of Investigation -- Insurance Fraud, Legal Work, Domestic Issues, and Child Support/Custody Concerns. Each of these areas requires not only experience but knowledge of the law. IRG strives to provide the highest level of ethical and professional investigative services available. We promise that we will do everything in our power to reach the goal of obtaining the information you need in a timely and economical fashion while conducting ourselves in a professional and discreet manner while representing your case.
Insurance Fraud
Investigative Resource Group works with Insurance, Self-Insured Companies, Third-Party Administrators and their Defense Counsels as an extension of your business with the sole purpose of minimizing your liabilities and resolving your investigative challenges. Our specialties include worker's compensation claims, long-term disability claims, bodily injury claims, general liability claims, etc. Surveillance is usually conducted covertly for the purpose of obtaining information for insurance fraud, employee theft, criminal and civil investigations, as well as other types of investigations. Throughout the surveillance, we video record every time there is activity. Interviews are often done with the subject's knowledge of the circumstances, but can also be done without the subject knowing that information is being gathered for a specific reason.
Legal Investigations
Some of the legal investigative services we provide are: surveillance, witness locates, background investigations, scene investigations, jury pool backgrounds, recorded statements, process service, video depositions, and interviews. The first step of any investigation is the preliminary inquiry in which all the pertinent data is collected. Information about key persons in the investigation is also gathered from database reports. With this preliminary information the investigative team will devise an investigative plan that will outline specific tasks.
Domestic Investigations
Investigations on people that are part of your home life are called Domestic Investigations. A domestic investigation may be performed on a child, a husband, a wife, a lover, a significant other, a mom, a dad, or some other family member. If you are getting engaged, a pre-marital investigation will find truth behind your potential partner before you risk heartache, physical abuse or financial loss. We can perform a complete background investigation to find out about previous marriages, civil and criminal court actions, where they have lived, where they have worked, who they have associated with, and other potential indicators of problems. We have investigators that specialize in infidelity cases. Through discreet surveillance and undercover operations, our investigators assist you in determining if infidelity is being committed. We will document their activities, places visited, and meetings.
Child Support / Custody
Child custody and visitation is usually the most crucial issue in a divorce or custody dispute. In determining the custody of a minor, the court is guided by one standard, “What is in the best interest of the child”. Though it is usually important that each parent or known guardian remain a strong part of a child’s life, it is equally important that the child not be in an unhealthy environment. If you have reason to believe it is not in the best interest of the child to be in the custody or visitation of the other guardian, we can help you in your efforts by documenting the evidence.

Services are regularly charged at an hourly rate plus expenses. The importance of not only conducting an effective, but also an efficient investigation has become a paramount for many law firms, individual and business that often work with a predetermined budget. Our Agency is very aware of the budget restrains often placed on our clients and have implemented aggressive cost control measures to ensure that our clients receive the most effective, reliable investigations within the budget parameters. These measures include supervisory review of assignments allowing us to schedule tasks in conjunction with others thus minimizing travel and field time as well as expenses.
HOURLY RATE: Although our services are charged at an hourly rate, we have developed various ALL-INCLUSIVE hourly rates or DAILY FLAT-RATE pricing plans and services that can be tailored to the specific needs of the client. This is one more method of aggressively controlling costs.
